The Little Robin is a member of the extensive geranium family of which there are a number of species native to Andalucia. The pink, five petalled flowers, grow to between 7 and 14mm across and a height of 20cm on a hairy stem. Notice the delicate 'filigree' design at the throats of the petals and the gradation in petal size. This specimen was seen at Jimena where they are quite common in walls and on stony ground. They should continue to flower until October.
