Picasso Art Show, Malaga

Have you ever wondered just what inspired Picasso? So have thousands of others. In an attempt to answer this question an exhibition has been put together at the Picasso Foundation in Malaga's Plaza de la Merced. More than sixty works will be displayed ranging from the late 19th century to the early avant-garde period. Works by Ramon Casas from the early part of this period are of elongated forms and almost violent brush strokes, similar to some of Picassos work. Other galleries show works by other artists who influenced Picasso. The final gallery is reserved for Picasso himself and will display for the first time "Visage d'Homme" (1962) which was created on a fragment of brick.

CUDECA Amblathon, Alcaucin

Promociones Zalia S.L, Complejo Las Mayoralas, are pleased to support Cudeca by organising an Amblathon walk on Saturday 12th July starting at 9am from the Hotel Viñuela in Alcaucín. There will be a choice of distances ranging from 2km to 12km. Adults will pay an entrance fee of 10 euros of which 100% will benefit Cudeca. Football Game in aid of Cudeca, Marbella

The Marbella Football Club, is hosting a triangular tournament with newly promoted Peterborough United and Rochdale on Sat 12th July. Kick off will be at 8pm and the gates will open at 5pm with entertainment provided from 17.30 to 19:30. Entrance fee will be 5¬ per person with children under 16 for free. The whole event will be for the benefit of Cudeca and the first match will be kicked off by the President and Founder of Cudeca, Joan Hunt, OBE. Penny and Roger Sparks from Competa are organising a charity evening at the Balcon Hotel in Competa. The event will consist of a night of music, food and dancing, under the stars and by the pool in the beautiful mountain village of Cómpeta. Costa Del Sol Darts Open , Alhaurín el Grande

The Coyote Bar in Alhaurín el Grande will be holding a weekend long darts competition in aid of Cudeca Cancer Care Hospice. Anyone can enter and there will be a big cash prize for the winner. The entry free is 15¬ per person which includes singles darts contest, Saturday night entertainment and a ticket for the Sunday carvery after the final. There will also be food and drink available throughout the entire competition.
