Kjell was born in 1949 in Nykoping, Sweden. His career in art began 35 years ago. He is a professional artist, who trained with the Swedish pottery industries, and at the University College of Arts, Craft and Design in Stockholm. Kjell has also taken additional studies in the USA and Canada.

Kjell has a workshop in Mora, where he creates his spectacular sculptures in glass, stoneware, bronze and concrete. His art is a blend of reality and creation. A blend of truth and imagination. Sometimes flying high, sometimes as calm as the soothing motion of the sea. That which did not previously exist suddenly comes to life and shines as it meets the light from the rooms' windows. Thought and imagination develop creations that can't fail to move and inspire. Creations that were hidden, have, with strength of will and the power of the hand have been shaped into a story to be interpreted by the world.

To physically view Kjells art is an experience that the eye, memory and soul will not easily forget. He has held exhibitions in Sweden, Germany, France and Spain. The exhibition in Sotogrande in 2005 will be his fifth in Spain.
